Sam travels wisely to win again!

In scorching 31 degree heat, The Wise Traveller (aka Sam), ridden very intelligently by Jamie Gambin, won again for Yen Hall Farm Racing at Huntingdon on 25 May. Jamie sensibly opted to sit behind the leader and favourite for the first 2 miles or so before starting to make his move up the back straight on the final circuit. He gained the lead while making the final turn into the home straight and went on to win by 2 1/2 lengths, only doing enough to ensure victory without stressing Sam in the heat. The whole team were superb, keeping Sam cool by hosing him with cold water before and after the race. Well done Sam and Jamie and well done and thank you, team!
