Sam Makes it 3 wins in 6 runs in 6 days for the yard!

The Wise Traveller (aka Sam) won for the Yen Hall Farm Racing Club in the 3 mile 1 furlong conditional jockeys’ hurdle race at Huntingdon on 25 November. Sam is a new recruit this year, having been bought in August, and this was his first run for us over hurdles. He was ridden by Bradley Roberts who knew him well from his time with Charlie Longsdon and had won on him, albeit when Sam was six pounds lighter in the handicap, in February. Although Sam had been at quite long odds, his price had shortened on the day of racing and he went off at 5/1, third favourite. He was soon in the lead and impressed with his slick jumping and cool attitude, leading from the front throughout the rest of the race. He was always in command and won comfortably without being put under any real pressure. He looks a very nice recruit for Yen Hall Farm Racing Club, who have now had two wins and one third placed finish in five days!
