ROSIE IN THE PINK

 In Latest News

Redbridge Rosie is clearly feeling very well and ran a very promising race to finish third at Fontwell on 1 September. This was her first time back on the racetrack since having pulled up at Sedgefield in February and this was a significant step forward in her career. She jumped impressively and travelled well through the race, always pressing the leaders and briefly taking the lead just before the second last hurdle – but not being able to see off the challenges of the very well handicapped and odds-on winner and the runner up. Rosie is six years old but has taken some time to mature and for the penny to drop about racing. On this occasion, ridden by Nick Scholfield, she settled well and showed every sign of enjoying the competition and we can expect her to progress and to win races.
