Rosie improves again

 In Latest News

Redbridge Rosie stepped up again from her placed result at Fontwell to finish second in a competitive 14 runner handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter on 19 September – she also defied a jinx by winning best turned out as a result of Skye’s beautiful plaiting and grooming! Rosie was 18/1 but defied her odds under an excellent ride by conditional, Bradley Harris, who rode an intelligent race and followed instructions perfectly. Rosie was unlucky to run into a very well handicapped horse that had been stepped up in trip on its handicap debut after moderate results over shorter races. As we said after the Fontwell race, it has taken some time for the penny to drop with Rosie but the way she travelled through today’s race and the quality of her jumping is exciting. She clearly relished the situation and is sure to improve further and to win soon!
