Park 2nd Again!

Park Annonciade outran his odds yet again with a fine display of jumping at Bangor-on-Dee on 16 May. Richie McClernon, who rode him again following his races at Ludlow and Plumpton, was full of praise for him. The race was run at a furious pace, perhaps surprisingly so given the softer ground on the back straight, and the two most fancied contenders paid the price. Park stayed with them and went into the lead towards the end of the back straight but was finally overhauled by the eventual winner and, as Richie said, Park had done nothing wrong and was very unlucky to run into the winner. He now has chase form for us of 3,2,1, 2 and 2. He is sure to win again soon!
