Park Swings into action

Park (aka Park Annonciade) swung into action at Ludlow on 17 December and showed that he liked being switched to 2 mile chasing. Ridden by Richie McLernon, he started well but avoided the frenetic pace of the initial front runners. Richie had Park nicely settled and travelling well at a sensible pace. He jumped well and very slickly over his fences and moved smoothly into the lead over the fourth last fence. He was still in the lead after the last and we hoped that he would stay on to win but was finally overtaken on the run-in and was unlucky to be pipped for second in the last few strides. A very exciting and encouraging run at a starting price of 40/1!
