Le Tueur slays the field

 In Latest News

Le Tueur (aka Terry), in the colours of our racing club, Yen Hall Farm Racing, won the 3 mile chase at Huntingdon on Sunday, 5 March, given a great ride by Tom Cannon. This was only Terry’s third run for the yard. He finished second in each of his first two runs and we were delighted that he has now chalked up a win. He is a big, strong horse, a classic chasing sort who stands at over 17 hands. He has a lovely long stride and jumps very well. On this occasion, a horse fell beside him and he did well to side-step around it – that seemed to energize him and he immediately accelerated into the lead and galloped relentlessly to the finish, beating the second horse by some 20 lengths, with the third horse (and only other finisher of the 7 starters) a further 80 lengths behind the second. It was another great day for Yen Hall Farm Racing!
