Great Start to the 2025/26 Jumps Season – A Win at Plumpton!

Now that we have finally had some rain, let the proper National Hunt Season start!

Our first runner, after a very hot and dry summer, won! The Wise Traveller (aka Sam), was given an excellent ride by our conditional, Jamie Gambin, and won in the colours of Yen Hall Farm Racing at 25/1 on 21 September. The two of them looked in complete harmony and in a lovely rhythm – and Sam was clearly enjoying it, jumping for fun with his ears nicely pricked. As planned, Jamie got a good start and led from start to finish, staying on really well up the home straight. This was Jamie’s second win in a row on Sam – fingers crossed for the hattrick!
