Flame and Cannon Burn Off the Opposition

Flame (aka Flamelco), ridden by Tom Cannon burnt off the opposition to win the two mile one furlong novices’ handicap chase at Plumpton on Easter Sunday, 20 April. Wearing the silks of our racing club, Yen Hall Farm Racing, this was Flame’s third win this season and the fourth win for the racing club this season. Tom Cannon is the best jockey riding at Plumpton and he gave Flame a beautiful and well-judged ride, dictating the race from the front. The combination got into an excellent rhythm and Flame jumped superbly throughout, sealing the race with perfect jumps over the last two fences. Well done Tom and Flame – and all my team at Yen Hall Racing!
