Jet-Propelled Start to 2024!

Jet (aka Jack’s Touch) won the mares’ 2 mile 4 furlong handicap steeplechase at Huntingdon on 12 January, the first run for the yard in 2024. This was Jet’s third win from just four runs, the sequence starting with her win at Leicester on 19 November. Daryl Jacob, who has ridden her in her previous wins, was in Ireland busy winning grade 1 races and so Kielan Woods took the ride at Huntingdon. Jet travelled really well on the soft ground and Kielan had her in a beautiful rhythm and she jumped superbly and with great confidence.

Amazingly, Jet’s win took the yard’s tally to six wins from 14 runs since 20 November, with four second place finishes and two thirds!
