Brecon Hill starts novice chasing

 In Latest News

Brecon Hill ran in his first novice chase in a very competitive race over 3 miles at Bangor on 29 September. He put in an excellent round of jumping and Nick Scholfield was delighted with him and is convinced that he has the ability to win a significant race this winter. As his jumping is so good, he needs a proper jumping and galloping track suitable for serious Saturday racing. As he eased up on him when it was clear that, on his first run after a break, he wasn’t going to stay with the leaders over the final couple of furlongs, the margin of defeat should not be taken seriously.
